Eleven Cisne FFA members submitted Supervised Agricultural Experiences (SAEs) more commonly known as record books in March 4th District V Proficiency Award competition held at Mt. Vernon Township High School.

The Cisne FFA Poultry Judging team of (left to right) Lillian McCarthy, Bryli Flexter, Aidyn Dickey, Rylee Dillon, Esme Krupp, Shane Locey, and Mikkie Hearle finished in 2nd place at the Section 23 Poultry Judging career development event hosted at North Clay High School on February 17, 2026. Mikkie Hearle was named first place overall contestant, and Lillian McCarthy received fifth overall individual. Sixty-four members representing ten schools participated. Students graded eggs based on interior and exterior specifications, identified retail cuts of chicken, judged live birds, graded ready to cook birds and processed products, and completed a written test.
