Good afternoon,

I want to apologize in advance, but tomorrow (4/17) we will only have 3 bus routes available.
Debbie's route (Jennifer's old route) and Teresa's route will not be in operation tomorrow. If your child rides one of these routes, please make other arrangements for tomorrow. If you have no other transportation options, please call your child's school and we will help find a solution. The routes that are running are Geri, Rob, and Jeanetta.
Other notes:

*David will be running Rob's regular route and will then stop at CMS and CHS to drop students off and pick them up. He will also be taking care of shuttling Johnsonville students to and from for both AM and PM riders.
*Jeanetta will run her regular route and will then pick up all the students who usually meet at the rock pile (remember we are now meeting at the Enterprise Church) and bring them into Cisne before returning to Mt. Erie School. For the pm route, Jeanetta will load Mt. Erie Students, come all the way to Cisne, and then stop at Enterprise Church.

*Please be flexible as normal pickup times could change
*This change is only for Friday April 17th

*Again, *If your child rides Debbie's bus or Teresa's bus, you will need to take them to their school, as well as pickup at the end of the day

I appreciate your patience regarding transportation. We cannot guarantee that we will not have to cancel a route or two again. However, please know that we are doing everything that we can to avoid this moving forward.

Thank you.

North Wayne CUSD 200 is considering facility options for the district moving forward. As you know the district currently operates in a 4 school system, and we have interest in exploring a 2 school system. We are working with an architectural firm out of Decatur (BLDD) to see what options we may have within a certain budget. This could potentially lead to changes in our district setup. However, nothing has been decided and we fully plan to hold informational meetings for our staff and the public before deciding on a definitive action plan. Our goals are to continue to provide the best possible education for our students, while solidifying our future in terms of curriculum/education, safety, and finances. Again, nothing has been decided, as we gather information and consider several different options. We plan to continue to keep our staff, parents, and the public informed at the appropriate time, as we navigate through phases of this process. Thank you.
