The North Wayne Music Department held its spring concert on Monday, May 4 at 6 pm. Dr. Buck presented awards to this year's band and choir members. First year band and choir members received their letters. Weston Cline received the Rookie of the Year Award, Rayna Pollard received the Outstanding Band Member Award, Rose Margentina received the 8-year Service Award, and Lei Amos received the Owen Bailey Never Give Up Award.
For the spring concert, Dr. Buck reserved a chair for 8th-grader Owen Bailey, and the night was dedicated to his memory.

On Saturday, the Wayne County Art Alliance presented a Young Talents Showcase of Student Art at Frontier Community College. Brody Hutchcraft received an Honorable Mention for his sculpture Rebar Deer head. Also representing CHS in the showcase were Makayla Morse with her hydrodipping piece and Alexia Stine with a collection of her drawings.

Cisne co-oped with Wayne City for Girl’s Basketball. Mr. Klinger recognized Maddelyn Hall and Kyrene Block who played this year.
Mr. Klinger recognized junior Mikkie Hearle and senior Noah Atkins for their participation in fall Cross Country.
Brody Hutchcraft and Quay Johnson were recoginzed for the participation in Bass Fishing this spring. Their season is underway, and we wish them the best fishing!

The Cisne FFA finished as the 22nd place overall chapter in the Murray State Field Day competition held Wednesday, April 15, 2026, at Murray State University. Eighty teams from Kentucky, Illinois and Tennessee participated. Nineteen Cisne FFA members competed in the event.
Top Ten Team Event Results Include:
2nd place Small Power Equipment Team - Lane Allen, Lester Jordan, Liam McCarthy, and Cale Shannon
