Congratulations to the Cisne FFA Envirothon Team 1 of (Pictured 1st left to right) Mikkie Hearle, Vincent King, Allison Shannon, Aidyn Dickey, and Kenzie Alvis on finishing as the 5th place Overall Team, the 1st place Soils team, and the Wayne County Champion Team at the Land Use Council 13 Envirothon held March 10, 2026, at the Rolland Lewis Park in Mt.Vernon. The natural resources event includes tests on Aquatics, Forestry, Soils, Wildlife, and a current events topic.

Individual honors included: 2nd place Chairperson-Kenzie Alvis; Overall Floor Member Awards: 4th place - Kadence Hyder, 6th place - Aidyn Dickey, 7th place- Esme Krupp, 8th place - Allison Shannon and 10th place - Becca King.
(2nd image)The Conduct of Chapter Meetings team of (left to right) Lester Jordan, Peyton Cordill, Bryli Flexter, Reese Beckel, Lillian McCarthy, Rylee Dillon, and Kloyee Dagg was named 2nd place team in the Section 23 competition also held March 9th at Olney. Individual Honors included: 2nd place President - Rylee Dillon, Overall Individual Floor Members: 3rd place - Lillian McCarthy, 4th place - Kloyee Dagg, and 7th place- Peyton Cordill. The varsity competition included a written test of parliamentary law, an 11-minute demonstration, and impromptu questions. The Conduct of Chapter Meetings team also included the demonstration of opening and closing FFA ceremonies. The teams now advance to the district level hosted by SIUC later in March.
